MEET GLORIA

I'm Gloria. Cheese lover and adventure seeker. Born and raised in the south, I have always dreamt big and talked a lot. I was "that" toddler in the grocery store waving and saying, "Hey!" to any stranger that passed. Needless to say, I was not a shy kid.

Since then, my outgoing personality and love of meeting new people has continued to grow. When I started college at Auburn University, I knew I needed to choose a major that would fit my interests, skills and goals. Without a doubt, public relations became the perfect fit. I haven't looked back since.

I also love all things entertainment. My biggest obsession, music, started at an early age when my self proclaimed garage band rocker of a dad introduced me to my first concert experience when I was in the 2nd grade. The concert just happened to be Elton John on tour. Naturally, my love for music skyrocketed after that.

It is the perfect fit for my personality. I'm a driven, outgoing and communicative person with a passion for meeting new people and going out of my comfort zone.
I love that public relations offers so many different avenues of career opportunities. Public relations includes working with some of my favorite things, such as the entertainment industry and social media.
I am an extremely active person. I love running, hiking and traveling. I always jump to visit new places, whether it is a weekend getaway or a trip across the world. Being with my friends and family is another big hobby of mine. Any day of the week you could easily find me dancing horribly in the car (trust me, it's bad. The "Robot" is one of my go-to moves), attempting new recipes (surprisingly, when you cook zucchini ten minutes too long it burns!), or having a movie night with friends.
Besides my mother, my biggest role model is Gloria Steinem. I consider her my role model because she constantly has fought for what she believes in, even if most of the time it was far beyond the status quo. Her goal to make equality among all genders and races a pressing issue is something I admire.
